Near Duplicate Search
The Include Options gear icon at the right of the searching panel offers a selection of Near Duplicate similarity filters to be applied to a search. This helps to include drafts, updated spreadsheets and other variations on documents of potential relevance, which are listed in a pane under Thread Details in the Thread Viewer.
To include near duplicates in a search expression:
Click the Include Options gear icon to the right of the searching panel.
Click the plus sign ('+') next to Include near duplicates.
Select one of the following choices:
Low similarity (65% or more)
Medium similarity (80% or more)
High similarity (95% or more)
Custom... If Custom is selected, you may manually set the range of similarity to be evaluated:
Click Apply and the setting will appear in the searching panel expression.
When Thread View is opened a Near Duplicate Documents panel will be displayed with Similarity Scores assessed against a primary near duplicate document.
